Tighten
Tighten the bolts and nuts to 142 Nm (105 ft. lbs.).

2. Install the lateral links (2) to the rear suspension knuckle. Secure the lateral links (2) using one bolt and nut. Do not tighten the lateral link bolts

fully.

3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Install the trailing arm (1) to the rear suspension knuckle. Secure the trailing arm (1) using one bolt and nut.

Tighten

Tighten the trailing arm bolt and nut to 91 Nm (67 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the lateral links bolt and nut to 118 Nm (87 ft. lbs.).

5. Install the backing plate to the rear suspension knuckle. Refer to BRAKE BACKING PLATE REPLACEMENT in DRUM BRAKES.
6. Install the brake pipe to the backing plate and brake hose.  

Tighten
Tighten the brake pipe fittings to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

7. Install the rear wheel hub. Refer to WHEEL BEARING/HUB REPLACEMENT - REAR.
8. Bleed the brake system. Refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING in HYDRAULIC BRAKES.
9. Inspect the rear wheel alignment. Refer to MEASURING WHEEL ALIGNMENT in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
