3 Speed-MB3 Automatic Transmission

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in the Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
3. Remove the shift select cable (2) from manual selector lever (1).

4. Remove the shift select cable (1) from manual selector base (2).

5. Remove the four bolts (2) and manual selector (1) from vehicle.
