Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION:  Refer to Battery Disconnect in Service Precautions.

2. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder fluid line from the master cylinder reservoir.

IMPORTANT:   Use a shop rag to catch any spilled fluid.

3. Remove the clevis pin from the clutch master cylinder push rod.
4. Remove the two nuts that retain the clutch master cylinder to the bulkhead.

5. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the vehicle.
