Prizm L4-108 1.8L DOHC VIN 8 MFI (1998)
1. Install the clutch master cylinder to the vehicle.
2. Install the master cylinder retaining nuts at the front of the bulkhead.

Tighten the master cylinder retaining nuts to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the pushrod to the clutch pedal.
4. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding in Clutch.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Install the clutch actuator cylinder fluid line to the master cylinder reservoir.
