Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments
1. Inspect the clutch pedal height (4). If the clutch pedal height is not within 138.4-148.4 mm (5.455.84 inch), adjust the clutch pedal. Use the
following procedure:
1.1. Remove the lower instrument finish panel and the air duct.
1.2. Loosen the locknut.
1.3. Turn the stopper bolt until the clutch pedal height is within 130-140 mm (5.12-5.51 inch).
1.4. Tighten the locknut.
1.5. Install the air duct and the lower instrument finish panel.
2. Inspect the clutch pedal free play (3). If the clutch pedal free play is not within 5.0-15.0 mm (0.1970.591 inch), adjust the clutch pedal free play.
Use the following procedure:
2.1. Remove the lower instrument finish panel and the air duct.
2.2. Depress the clutch pedal until resistance is felt.
2.3. Loosen the locknut.
2.4. Turn the pushrod until the free play is within 5.0-15.0 mm (0.197-0.591 inch).
2.5. Tighten the locknut.
2.6. Install the air duct and the lower instrument finish panel.
