1.
Remove engine front cover as previously described.
2.
Remove tensioner attaching bolts, then the tensioner.
3.
To install tensioner, position tangs of tool J-33875 under tensioner sliding blocks, then pull tool to compress tensioner spring.
4.
While compressing tensioner spring, insert a cotter pin or other suitable tool into hole ``A,'' Fig. 6, to hold spring in the compressed position.
Remove tool J-33875 from tensioner.
5.
Install tensioner on engine, then remove cotter pin holding spring in the compressed position.
