Some owners of 1991-92 4 door S/T Utility vehicles may comment about an itch type noise at the top of the rear door. The "itch" may occur between the
upper auxiliary weatherstrip seal and top of the door (at the header).

To correct this condition, it may be necessary to replace the rear side door upper weatherstrip assembly with a new weatherstrip assembly which is
smaller in width. The smaller width seal will help eliminate the possibility of the door contacting the seal, causing an itch type sound at the top of the
door.

The new design parts have been installed in vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoints:

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the upper auxiliary weatherstrip seal by pulling it from the door (Figure 1, View A).

2.

Clean the affected sheet metal surface to remove any remaining glue residue.
