About the S10/T10
The S-10 was Chevrolet's compact pickup from the 1982 model year, the first compact pickup built in America by one of the Big Three; GMC sold it as the S-15, later Sonoma, and Isuzu as the Hombre. S is the two-wheel-drive and T the four-wheel-drive version. The S-10 Blazer SUV was built on it, and the Colorado replaced it in 2004.
What these manuals cover
- 1982–1993: the 1.9, 2.0 and 2.5-litre fours, the 2.2 diesel, the 2.8-litre V6 and the 4.3-litre V6
- 1994–2003: (second generation) the 2.2-litre four (including a flex-fuel version) and the 4.3 V6. Both pickups and S-10 Blazers are included
Tip: the GMC S-15 and Isuzu Hombre manuals cover the same trucks.
