3. Push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead grommet.
4. Connect the accelerator control cable (1) to the accelerator pedal (2).
Adjustment for Manual Transmission M/T
1. Inspect the accelerator control cable for 10 to 15 mm (0.4 to 0.6-in) of end play.
2. Loosen the adjusting nut and the cable locknut at the throttle body unit.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. With the throttle pedal fully depressed, check the clearance (2) between the throttle lever (3) and throttle body hard stop (1). The clearance should
be: 0.5-2.0 mm (0.02-0.07 in).
Tighten
Tighten the accelerator cable locknut adjusting nut to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).
