Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount Replacement (Right)
Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the nut from the top of the engine mount.
3. If it is necessary to remove the engine block bracket (2), remove (1) bolt and the starter motor wire harness from the engine block bracket.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
5. Support the engine using an engine support stand.
6. Remove the 2 nuts from the bottom of the engine mount.
7. Raise the engine slightly in order to provide clearance for the engine mount assembly removal.
8. Remove the right side engine mount (3).
9. If it is necessary to remove the engine block bracket (2), remove the 2 bolts from the bottom of the engine block-to-transmission bracket. Remove
the 4 bolts and the engine block bracket (2).
10. Remove the 4 bolts and the body mount bracket (4) (if necessary).
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the body mount bracket (4) (if removed).
Tighten the 4 bolts to 85 Nm (62 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the engine block bracket (2) and 4 bolts (if removed).
3. Install the 2 bolts through the bottom of the engine block-to-transmission bracket.
Tighten the 6 bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the right side engine mount (3).
