Tracker 2WD L4-2.0L VIN C (1999)
14. Apply DEXRON-III Automatic Transmission Fluid, GM P/N 12346143, or equivalent, to the O-ring (1).
15. Install the O-ring to the pump body.
16. Apply DEXRON-III Automatic Transmission Fluid, GM P/N 12346143., or equivalent, to the sliding surface of the pump cover (2) and the rotor
17. Match the dowel pins (3,4) to the holes of the cover plate and install the pump cover to the pump body.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
18. Install 4 pump cover bolts (1,2,3,4) to the pump cover (5).

Gradually tighten the pump cover bolts to 23 Nm (17.0 ft. lbs.).
