65. Remove the following from the cylinder head:
^
Twelve bolts
^
The camshaft carrier caps
^
The camshaft seal
^
The camshaft
IMPORTANT: Loosen the cylinder head bolts gradually in the specified sequence to prevent the cylinder head distortion.
66. Remove the following from the cylinder block:
^
Ten bolts
^
The cylinder head
^
The cylinder head gasket
67. Clean the mating surfaces of the following:
^
The cylinder head
^
The cylinder block
^
The intake manifold
^
The exhaust manifold
^
The distributor gear case of all gasket or sealant materials
68. Clean all bolt threads and bolts.
69. Inspect the cylinder head.
