Compressor Clutch: Service and Repair
Tool Required:
J 41384-Clutch Plate Holder/Remover
J 39200-Digital Multimeter
Remove or Disconnect
1. Compressor from vehicle.
Removing Pressure Plate Nut
2. Pressure plate nut and washer from drive shaft, using tool J 41384.
3. Pressure plate from drive shaft, using tool J 41384.
Removing Snap Ring
4. Clutch pulley snap ring and shim, using appropriate snap ring pliers.
5. Clutch pulley from compressor, using plastic hammer.
Important

Be careful not to damage clutch pulley when tapping it off.
