Horn Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Pull out the  panel while pushing the stopper from both the left and right sides.
3. Remove the 2 screws.
4. Remove the relay mounting bracket from the heater case.
5. Remove the horn relay from the mounting bracket by releasing the locking tab.
6. Disconnect the horn relay electrical connector.
7. Remove the horn relay from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the horn relay electrical connector.
2. Install the horn relay to the mounting bracket.
3. Install the relay mounting bracket to the heater case. Secure the bracket with the two screws.
4. Close the  panel compartment.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
