Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the intake air inlet duct from the throttle body.
2. Remove the breather hose (1) from the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector (3).
4. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector (2).
5. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling Engine.
6. Disconnect the lower coolant line (1) from the throttle body.
7. Disconnect the upper coolant line (2) from the throttle body.
8. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) from the throttle body by rotating the throttle lever (3) to wide open throttle (WOT) and removing the
cable end from the slot.
9. Disconnect the A/T throttle cable (2), if necessary, from the throttle body throttle lever (3) by removing the cable end from the throttle lever slot.
