Tracker 4WD L4-2.0L VIN C (1999)
2. Inspect the following components for damage. Repair or replace as necessary.

The steering gear (2)

The power steering pump (1)
-
The power steering fluid reservoir (3)
-
The steering gear boots
-
The inner tie rods
-
The outer tie rods
-
The steering wheel
3. Remove the steering column trim covers.
4. Inspect the steering column support bracket. Refer to Steering Column Support Bracket Inspection.
5. If any components impacted the steering column, remove the steering column.
6. Inspect the steering column jacket and the steering column lower seal. Measure the length of the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Jacket
