Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair
ACCELERATOR CONTROLS CABLE REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) from the accelerator pedal (2).
2. Push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead grommet.
3. Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the throttle body by rotating the throttle lever (1) to Wide Open Throttle (WOT) and removing the
cable end from the slot (2).
