NOTE:

PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION NOT TO DAMAGE THE WIRING OR OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS DURING THE
GRINDING OPERATION. DO NOT TRY TO USE A HOT KNIFE FOR THIS OPERATION.

Use a vacuum cleaner either during or after drilling to remove the plastic chips from the instrument panel.

5.

Reinstall the instrument cluster.

NOTE:

TO START, PULL THE CABLE HOUSING THROUGH THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAR ENOUGH TO ATTACH THE CABLE
TO THE SPEEDOMETER BEFORE INSTALLATION OF THE SPEEDO CLUSTER INTO THE DASH PANEL. THIS WILL
PROVIDE POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT OF THE CABLE INTO THE SPEEDOMETER HEAD.

6.

Reconnect the battery and road test for proper speedometer operation.
