Side Rail Head Impact Counter Measure - Remove/Install
5. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry out on the counter measure rail to be removed.
6. Remove head impact counter measure rail from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the head impact counter measure rail over retaining slots and firmly snap into place.
2. Install the curtain airbag.
3. Install the headliner into the vehicle.
WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN OCCUPANT
PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
4. Verify vehicle and system operation.
5. Close hood.
