3. Install the lower return spring (2) on the shoes.
4. Install the brake shoe adjuster (1) between the front and rear shoes (2). The star wheel mounts toward the rear of the vehicle.
5. Insert the hold-down pin (3) (from the rear) through the rear shoe (1) and install the hold-down clip (2) securing the shoe in place. Position the clip
as shown to avoid contact with other components.
