Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Torque Strut - Removal

Upper

UPPER

1. Remove bolts attaching upper torque strut (6) to shock tower bracket and engine mount bracket.
2. Remove timing belt front upper cover (if A/C equipped).
3. Remove the upper torque strut (6).

Lower

 LOWER

1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove accessory drive belt splash shield (3).
