Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Installation
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Failure to install speed sensor cables properly may result in contact with moving parts or an over extension of cables causing an
open circuit. Be sure that cables are installed, routed, and clipped properly.
1. Insert the wheel speed sensor (2) head into the disc brake adapter (1) or drum brake support plate.
2. Install the mounting screw (3) securing the wheel speed sensor in place. Tighten the mounting screw to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
3. Install the routing clips (2) securing the wheel speed sensor to the axle (1) and its trailing arm (3).
