13. Connect the negative (ground) cable on the battery.
14. Install the air cleaner housing.
15. Install the air cleaner cover.
16. Hook up the DRBIII to initialize the new CAB.
17. Fill the master cylinder to the proper fill level and bleed the base and ABS hydraulic systems.
18. Road test the vehicle to ensure proper operation of the base and antilock brake systems.

REMOVAL
NOTE: Before proceeding refer to Service Precautions.
1. Unclip the air cleaner cover (two clips) and move the cover aside.
2. Remove the air cleaner housing by pulling it straight up.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness connector from the brake fluid level switch in the master cylinder brake fluid reservoir (Fig. 29).
