About the Sebring
Chrysler sold the Sebring from 1995 to 2010 as a coupe, convertible and sedan. The coupes were Chrysler designs on Mitsubishi platforms, built at Mitsubishi's plant in Normal, Illinois; the convertible and sedan used Chrysler's own Cirrus-based platforms. The coupe was dropped after 2005, and the Chrysler 200 replaced the rest for 2011.
What these manuals cover
- 1995–1997 (first generation): the coupe's 2.0-litre DOHC four and the 2.5-litre V6 in coupes and convertibles.
- 2001–2005 (second generation): the 2.4-litre four and the 2.7-litre V6 in sedans and convertibles, and the 2.4 four and a 3.0-litre V6 in coupes.
- 2007–2009 (third generation): the 2.4-litre four, the 2.7-litre V6 (which can run on E85) and the 3.5-litre V6 with Chrysler's first six-speed automatic.
Tip: the 1995–2000 Sebring coupe is a sister of the Dodge Avenger, and the 2001 sedan and coupe match the Dodge Stratus of the same years.
