About the Stratus
The Stratus was introduced in December 1994 on the JA platform, with the Plymouth Breeze and Chrysler Cirrus, and the three were on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 1996 and 1997. It was updated for 2001, when a coupe joined, and replaced by the Avenger for 2008.
What these manuals cover
- 1995–1998: (first generation) the 2.0 and 2.4-litre fours and the 2.5 V6
- 2001–2003: (second generation) the 2.4 four and the 2.7 and 3.0-litre V6s
