8. Remove the nut that fastens the parking brake cable to the bracket on the rear axle. Remove the cable from the bracket.
9. Remove the nut from the underbody side bracket. Remove the cable from the bracket.
10. Remove the brake cable from the wire hanger (passenger's side only).
11. Pull the brake cable from the open-ended bracket near the wire hanger.
