Lanos S Hatchback L4-1.6L DOHC D-TEC MFI (1999)
Tighten the rear brake drum castle nut (non-ABS) to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) minus 180 degrees plus 1 Nm (9 inch lbs.).
5. Install the rear wheels.
6. Install the parking brake cable to the fuel tank bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the parking brake cable bracket nut to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
7. Install the parking brake cable on the wire hanger (passenger's side only).
8. Insert the brake cable into the open-ended holding bracket near the wire hanger.
9. Install the parking brake cable to the underbody side brackets.
Tighten
Tighten the parking brake cable bracket nuts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
