Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Rear

Removal Procedure 

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove the nut, the washer, and the bolt at both sides of the axle.
4. Remove the insulator and the stabilizer shaft.
5. Pull the stabilizer toward the side of the car without the wheel.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the stabilizer shaft inside the axle.

2. Install the bolts with the washers through the control arms of the axle and the stabilizer shaft. Attach the nuts onto the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the stabilizer shaft-at-axle nuts to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).

3. Coat the insulators with lubricant and insert them into the rear axle.
4. Replace the rear wheel.
5. Lower the vehicle.
