Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the stoplamp switch.
2. Notice how the brake pedal return spring is installed so that it can be reinstalled the same way. Move the end of the brake return spring away from
the clevis retainer on the brake pedal.
3. Remove the clip, the retainer, and the clevis pin from the brake pedal.
4. Remove the retaining clip from the brake pedal shaft, and remove the nut and the washer from the shaft.
5. Remove the pedal shaft and the brake pedal.
Installation Procedure
1. Coat the pedal shaft with grease.
