Power Steering Pump

Removal of power steering pump. (Power steering equipped vehicle only).
(a) Loosen the two attaching bolts and tension adjusting bolt.
(b) Remove the V-ribbed belt for the P/S pump.
(c) Remove the P/S pump from the engine by removing the P/S pump attaching bolts.
NOTE: Suspend the removed P/S pump at the vehicle body side, using an adequate rope.

Removal of air cleaner.
Air Cleaner Hoses
(a) Remove the hoses from the air cleaner case.
NOTE: Be very careful not to damage the air cleaner case when removing the hose.
Air Cleaner Fasteners
(b) Remove the air cleaner assembly by loosing the two hose bands and removing the three attaching bolts.
NOTE: Be very careful not to damage the accelerator cable when removing the air cleaner assembly.
