1.
Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Remove rear wheels.
3.
Remove parking brake guide from strut rod.
4.
Remove strut rod attaching bolts from carrier.
5.
Remove strut rod attaching bolts from body and then the strut rod.
6.
Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Use new strut rod attaching bolts. Strut rod attaching bolts are specially friction coated bolts. Never reuse.
b. Rock vehicle to seat torque rod bushing.
c. Torque strut rod bolts to specifications only after weight of vehicle is on suspension.
