Grind the welds at the top of the roll stop brackets flush with the top of the bracket (Figure 12) to allow for proper fit of the spring tower
reinforcement bracket.
2.
Using a suitable hammer, flatten the area around the pilot pull hole on both sides of the frame rail if necessary (Figure 13).
3.
Prepare the welding surfaces by removing all wax, dirt, oil, and paint that may be present.
