SYMPTOM/CONDITION

This condition emits a "chirp" or "squeak" sound from the exhaust seal ring-to-exhaust manifold connection. This noise is heard most often when the
automatic transmission is placed in gear or a manual transmission equipped car is driven in reverse.

PARTS REQUIRED

Loctite high temperature nickel anti-seize compound #77164 or equivalent.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Remove two bolts holding exhaust flex joint to exhaust manifold.
