6. Raise and support the vehicle.
7. Remove the front belly pan See: Body and Frame/Exterior Moulding / Trim/Underbody Cover/Service and Repair/Belly Pan - Removal.
8. Remove upper most mounting bolt (2) from generator (1).
9. Remove generator bracket bolt (3) and remove bracket (4).
10. Remove lower mounting bolts (2) and reposition the generator (1).
NOTE: Bolt 3 securing the A/C compressor to the engine cannot be fully removed until the compressor is positioned away from the cylinder
block.
11. Fully loosen the bolt (3) that secures the A/C compressor (5) and automatic transmission cooler line bracket (4) to the cylinder block (6).
CAUTION: Use care not to deform or damage the automatic transmission cooler lines and retaining bracket when repositioning the A/C
compressor.
12. Remove bolts (1 and 2) and reposition the A/C compressor.
