4. Cut four 7/16 X 1-1/16 pieces of foam from p/n 5019058AA for each suspect scuff plate (Fig. 3).

5. Pull up on the false floor using a trim stick (Fig. 4) and insert foam pieces at the designated areas in (Fig. 5) underneath the false floor.

6. Using firm hand pressure reinstall scuff plate(s). Refer to the detailed installation procedures available in DealerConnect > TechCONNECT under:

Service Info > 23-Body > Interior > PLATE, Scuff, Door > Installation.

7. Verify the scuff plate is fully seated. If the scuff plate will not fully seat this bulletin does not apply, further diagnosis required.

8. Re-secure the door weatherstrip.

9. Return the vehicle to the customer.
