If the seat cushion cover is being reused, cut off and remove all original wires and glue patches from the inside surface of the seat cushion
cover (Figure 3).

If the seat cushion cover is not being reused (burned or discolored), discard it and use a new cushion cover for the remaining steps.
CAUTION:
DO NOT route the new cushion element wire through the existing hole in the seat cushion foam.
CAUTION:
During the installation of the new heating element, be careful not to fold or crease the element assembly.
