Key Left In Ignition Chime Test
To test the key in ignition function, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position with key in the ignition switch. The driver's door must be open. The
chime should sound until key is removed from the ignition switch or the drivers door is closed.
The Key-in Ignition switch is built into the ignition switch assembly. Should the Key-in switch require service, the ignition switch assembly must be
replaced. Refer to Electrical, Ignition Control for service procedures.
