Rear Suspension Knuckle - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the knuckle (1) on the upper and lower control arm, and the toe link.
2. Install the bolt and nut (2) securing the upper control arm to the knuckle. Do not tighten the mounting bolt nut at this time.
3. Install the bolt and nut (4) securing the lower control arm to the knuckle. Do not tighten the mounting bolt nut at this time.
4. Install the bolt and nut (3) securing the toe link to the knuckle. Do not tighten the mounting bolt nut at this time.
CAUTION: Before installing the bolts in the following step, it is especially important to clean the threads and apply Mopar(R) Lock & Seal
Adhesive or equivalent.
5. Install the three bolts (3) securing the trailing link (2) to the knuckle (1). Be sure to include the parking brake cable routing clamp when installing
the top mounting bolt. Tighten the mounting bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the hub and bearing, then the brake rotor and caliper. See: Wheel Bearing/Service and Repair/Rear Hub and Bearing - Installation
