Inboard Brakeshoe
6. Remove inboard brake shoe from caliper mounting adapter.
7. Support caliper, do not allow brake hose to support weight of caliper.
8. Remove 0-ring from caliper adapter.
INSTALLATION
1. Bottom pistons in caliper bore with C-clamp. Place an old brake shoe between a C-clamp and caliper piston.
2. Install inboard brake shoe in adapter.
3. Remove protective paper from noise suppression gasket on new outboard shoe.
4. Install outboard brake shoe in caliper. Remove any free play by bend shoe retaining flanges. Bend flanges until shoe has a light interference fit in
caliper.
5. Lubricate slide surfaces of caliper mounting adapter and caliper with Mopar high temperature, or multi-mileage grease.
6. Install 0-ring in adapter, if removed.
7. Install caliper over rotor and into adapter. Do not displace or damage the piston dust boot when installing the caliper.
8. Install caliper retainer clips, anti-rattle springs and retaining bolts. Tighten bolts to 20 Nm (180 inch lbs.).
9. Install wheel and tire assemblies and lower vehicle.
10. Apply brakes several times to seat caliper pistons and brake shoes and obtain firm pedal.
11. Top off master cylinder fluid level.
