Repeat test drive with the grille taped. If the problem still exists, the fault of the condition is not the grille and further diagnosis will be necessary. If the
whistling has disappeared, then perform the following Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing (1/4 in. thick x 3/8 in. wide) closed cell PVC foam (p/n 04882735) between the hood and grille gap.
1.
Open the hood.
2.
Remove the bolt holding the bottom of the grille to the grille bracket.
3.
Remove the bolts holding the sides of the grille to the grille bracket.
4.
Remove the six nuts holding the grille to the hood (Figure 3).
5.
Separate grille from vehicle (do not remove the grille bracket assembly).
