This power steering gear assembly, incorporates a rack piston which is permanently attached to the rack and sealed in the gear housing by a piston
ring. One oil line is attached to the gear housing on each side of the rack piston and ring assembly. The rack housing at the pinion end is sealed by an
inner rack seal, and at the piston end by an inner and outer cylinder bulkhead, a bulkhead seal and an O-ring, all held in place by a bulkhead retaining
ring.
