Stored Brake Caliper
5. Support the brake caliper by hanging it from the upper control arm using mechanics wire. Do not let caliper assembly hang by brake hose.
6. Remove the brake rotor from the hub/bearing.
Hub/Bearing Attaching Bolts
7. Remove the remaining hub/bearing to steering knuckle attaching bolts.
8. Remove the hub/bearing assembly from the steering knuckle.
INSTALLATION
Corrosion Gasket
CAUTION: A corrosion prevention gasket is used between the hub/bearing and the steering knuckle. The gasket is required to prevent galvanic
corrosion between the hub/bearing and the steering knuckle. The corrosion prevention gasket must be used when installing a hub/bearing in the
steering knuckle.
