Control Assembly: Service and Repair
Heater-A/C Control Replacement

REMOVAL

For removal follow steps in image and note the following:
Step 5 -- Heater Control Assembly Removal 

1. Press the Lever to disconnect the air outlet change over damper cable.

2. Snap the boss and clamp with flippers or a flat-tipped screwdriver, etc to remove the heater control assembly.

NOTE:  The boss and clamp are needed for assembly line at the factory, but not needed for service work.
