ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

1. Tooling

A pair of pliers for elastic clips, reference [0172-Z]

2. Removing

Drain the brake fluid reservoir; Using a syringe.

  1. brake fluid reservoir
  2. clip
  3. supply pipe
  4. brake pipes
  5. nuts
  6. master brake cylinder

Disconnect the connector ( as "a").

Uncouple :

  • The clip (2); Using tool [0172-Z]
  • The supply pipe (3) of the master cylinder
  • The brake pipes (4) (beware of escaping fluid)

Close; Using plugs :

  • The openings of the hydraulic components
  • The supply pipe (3) of the master cylinder

Remove :

  • The brake fluid reservoir (1)
  • The nuts (5)
  • The master brake cylinder (6)

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Adhere to the tightening torques .

N.B. : Check the set back of the brake servo thrust rod.
