ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations.

ESSENTIAL : Always replace the brake pads if replacing the discs.

1. Removing

  1. Untighten the rear wheel bolts.
  2. Slacken the parking brake.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle, with the rear wheels hanging free.
  4. Remove the rear wheels.

Remove :

  • The rear brake pads (see the relevant operation)
  • The bolts (1)
  • The rear brake caliper (2)

Remove :

  • The bolts (3)
  • The rear brake disc (4)

2. Cleaning

ESSENTIAL : Do not use compressed air to clean the brakes.

2.1. 1st possibility

Clean the rear brake disc (4) and the rear brake caliper (2); With a recommended brake cleaning product.
Allow to dry and to drain.
