Push the piston back (levering at b).

CAUTION : Check the brake fluid level.

Tilt the brake caliper (2).

Remove :

• The brake pads (3)
• The springs (4)

Push the pistons back; Using FACOM D60A pliers.

CAUTION : Check the brake fluid level.

3. Cleaning

ESSENTIAL : Do not use compressed air to clean the brakes.

3.1. 1st possibility

Clean the brake disc and caliper (2); With a recommended brake cleaning product.
Allow to dry and to drain.
Wipe; Using a paper cloth.

3.2. 2nd possibility

Use an approved dedusting instrument (see tools and equipment catalogue).
Visually check :

• Around the pistons for leak
• That the protective gaiters are in good condition and correctly adjusted
• The disc for wear

Ensure that the caliper slides correctly.
