ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations.

ESSENTIAL : Apply the airbag safety procedures.

CAUTION : Apply the procedure for switching off the central airbag system.

CAUTION : Release and disconnect : The connectors; When connecting, ensure that the harnesses are correctly routed and clipped correctly.

CAUTION : The connectors must be disconnected without exerting any stress on the harnesses and the connectors (No pulling of the harnesses is permitted).

1. Removing

Disconnect the battery.

Engage a screwdriver in the holes at the bottom of the steering wheel and press on the spring in order to detach the airbag (1) (at "a").

Partially disengage the airbag (1).
