ESSENTIAL : Before starting any operation, take care to comply with the safety requirements applying to airbags (see the relevant operation).
ESSENTIAL : Apply the procedure for switching off the central airbag system (see the relevant operation).

Engage a screwdriver in the holes at the bottom of the steering wheel and press on the spring in order to detach the airbag ( 1) (at "a").
Partially disengage the airbag ( 1).
