Remove the nuts (2).

Detach : The side air bag (1).

ESSENTIAL : When removing an airbag, disconnect the supply connector first.

Unplug ( as "a").

Disconnect the connector ( as "b").

Remove : The side air bag (1).

ESSENTIAL : Apply the procedure for destruction of the pyrotechnic components.

ESSENTIAL : Apply the procedure for replacement of the pyrotechnic components following triggering of the air bags and seat belts.

2. Refitting

ESSENTIAL : When refitting an airbag, connect the earth connector first.

Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Reconnect the battery.

ESSENTIAL : Apply the procedure to deactivate the centralised airbag and seat belt system.

Check the operation of the equipment.
