Align the mating edges and protect them with a weldable primer.
7. Adjustment
Present the elements, allowing for adjustment.
Check the fits and clearances (see the relevant operation).
Use the approved checking and measuring equipment.
8. Welding

Position the front chassis member connection panel (8).
Weld using successive beads (MIG or MAG).
Grind the welds.
Weld with MIG or MAG spot welds (at "a").
Grind the spot welds.
Weld with electric spot welds (at "b").
